The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. You do not need to side-load anything.

Downloading the app

From the App Store (recommended):

Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
Search for Vantrexia.
Tap Get and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.
Once installed, open the app and continue to Sign in below.

From TestFlight (beta builds):

If your practice is on the beta program you'll receive a TestFlight invitation by email.

Install the TestFlight app from the App Store if you don't have it.
Open the invitation email on your iPhone and tap View in TestFlight.
Tap Accept and then Install.
Beta builds expire every 90 days. TestFlight will prompt you to update.

TestFlight gives you early access to new features. Bugs may exist. If anything looks wrong, shake the phone to send feedback directly from inside TestFlight.

Signing in

Use the same email and password you use for the staff portal.

Open the Vantrexia app.
Tap Sign in.
Enter your work email and password.
If two-factor authentication is enabled on your account, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
If you belong to more than one practice, choose which tenant to sign in to.
Optionally enable Face ID / Touch ID when prompted. This lets you re-open the app without typing your password.

The app does not support shared logins. Every clinician needs their own account. Sharing a login on a phone breaks audit trails and violates HIPAA.

After your first sign-in

Once you're in:

  • Allow push notifications when prompted. Without them, you won't get real-time alerts.
  • Allow Face ID / Touch ID for fast unlocks.
  • Take a moment to set your alert preferences under Profile → Notifications (which vital types should buzz your phone, quiet hours, etc.).

You're ready to use the app day-to-day. See Daily use.

Trouble signing in?

SymptomTry
"Invalid credentials" but the password works on the webMake sure you typed the same email, corporate vs. personal email is a common slip.
Stuck at the 2FA code screenConfirm your phone's clock is set to automatic time. Authenticator codes drift if the clock is off.
"Tenant unavailable"Your account may have been deactivated by an admin. Ask your practice owner to check Settings → Team.
App crashes on openForce-quit, then reopen. If it persists, delete and reinstall. Your data is on the server, nothing is lost.

If none of those help, your practice's Vantrexia administrator can open a support ticket from the staff portal.
